Because this material is so soft, it can be prone to surface pilling (small fuzz balls) in areas that experience frequent rubbing or friction.To keep your uniform looking its best and minimize pilling, please follow these simple care steps:Wash inside out: Turn your garment inside out before washing to protect the outer surface from rubbing against other clothes.Use a gentle cycle: Wash on a cold, gentle cycle with similar soft fabrics. Avoid washing your uniform with rough items like jeans, towels, or garments with heavy zips and Velcro.Choose a mild liquid detergent: Liquid detergents are gentler on stretchy fibers than powder alternatives. Avoid fabric softeners, which can weaken the fabric over time.Air dry when possible: Lay the garment flat or hang it to air dry. If you must use a tumble dryer, select a low-heat, delicate setting.Quick fix: If surface pilling does occur, it can be easily and safely removed using a battery-operated fabric shaver.
